Postdocs
We currently have no openings for postdocs. However, if you are interested to work with us, we can explore some of the fellowship options listed below.
We are interested in postdocs with strong experience in at least one of the following areas: ultrafast optics/spectroscopy, quantum optics, condensed matter. Please get in touch with us and send your CV and the names of 2-3 potential references (letters need not be provided at this time). In case there is mutual interest, we can explore fellowship opportunities at ISTA, in Austria or in the EU.
Graduate Students
Though we may not always have available positions, we are always interested in hearing from motivated perspective PhD students.
Note: PhD students need to apply to the ISTA Graduate School first. Graduate students are admitted once a year after a general application process and affiliate with a particular group officially only by the end of their first year. If you are interested in a PhD thesis or rotation in our group, do not hesitate to contact us for possible projects in advance.
Interns
We offer experimental as well as theoretical projects funded through the ISTA ISTernship program. Interested students are encouraged to apply through the official website. Do not hesitate to get in touch with us to discuss possible projects.
At the moment, we do not offer internship positions outside of the ISTernship program. Nevertheless, interested individuals are encouraged to get in touch with us for potential future opportunities with a later starting date.
